Is Chewie Canadian?

Sumi, Quatchi and Miga are the three new mascots who will meet and greet athletes, visitors, and fans in Vancouver and Whistler for the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

But we can’t help but wonder if Quatchi might be less like a Sasquatch and more like a Wookiee?

    Then Sumi looks like an ewok, but with wings, and Higa looks like, um, Han Solo?
