
Ah, those awkward days of junior high. Awkward because many of us were beginning to notice the opposite sex, and awkward because most of us refused to shed our childhood love of Star Wars.
Over at collegehumor.com, Patrick Cassels just posted a copy of a letter he wrote to the girl of his dreams in 8th grade, demonstrating what most of us discovered pretty quickly — girls don’t like to be compared to dead tauntauns.

Replace “Jessica” with “Padme”, and it would sound just like something Anakin would say.
